George Williamson studied law at Mississippi College School of Law in Jackson, Mississippi and is admitted to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office in all matters including patents and trademarks, and is admitted for the practice of law in Mississippi. However, he followed a somewhat unusual path to becoming a patent attorney as he obtained a B.S. and M.S. in Engineering from Mississippi State University and worked professionally as an engineer before attending law school. While working as an engineer he became a licensed professional engineer in Mississippi. In addition to his strong educational background, he is also licensed to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States.
